New local staffing agency geared towards 'gig economy'

OSCEOLA, Ind. -- Two local entrepreneurs are opening up a new staffing agency in Osceola that will serve South Bend, Elkhart, and the surrounding areas.

The owners of Gigworx, Mathew Welsch and Alyssa Varacalli, say the region is ripe for economic growth and development and that this location is the first of its kind in the area.

"We are excited to introduce GigWorx to the South Bend/Elkhart community. Our innovative approach to staffing will help local businesses thrive by providing them with the skilled workers they need in a timely and flexible manner. The company will open its location at 1415 Lincoln Way West in Osceola on June 10.
