New MLK monument unveiled in DC

A new piece of American history was unveiled in DC Monday. The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial site officially opened to the public. The 120 million dollar monument features a towering 30 foot sculpture of King. He's surrounded by a 450 foot inscription wall. It showcases the civil rights leader's message of democracy, hope, and love.


 The dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr.. Memorial is set for this coming Sunday. That's the 48th anniversary of King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech.
