NAPPANEE, Ind. – The new LaSalle Farm & Table Restaurant in Nappanee opened their doors to the public for the very first time on Friday – a grand opening that was delayed due to COVID-19.
The new restaurant is located on the property that was formerly Amish Acres.
The owners of the restaurant say that they are following state and CDC guidelines in order to provide a safe dining experience for their guests.
The restaurant has even had to make some changes in the way they serve food.
“We've changed the famous Thresher's Dinner, it's been altered to the Farm Feast,” Mark McDonnell said with LaSalle Hospitality Group. “[It’s] essentially the same items, just served on a single plate to a single person rather than a group of people. Health regulations prevent us from doing that right now
LaSalle Farm & Table will be taking extra precautions to ensure safety, such as providing thermometer scans to their employees before every shift and screening them for any symptoms of COVID-19.
