The next time shoppers buy raw meat, a nutrition label will be an addition.
A new rule has gone into effect. It affects all ground meat and poultry, as well as cuts like chicken breasts, pork chops, steaks and lamb.
The NSDA labels will include calories, protein, cholesterol and sodium. These labels have been on meat before, they were made voluntary back in 1993.
