New poll shows Romney leading Obama in presidential race

A new poll from the New York Times and CBS News has some warning signs for the President's re-election bid.

The poll shows Romney with a slight overall lead, and a two point lead among women voters.

As the news was spreading across the country, the President appeared on the talk show "The View."

He again talked about gay marriage. Both he and Mitt Romney don't think it will be a game changer.

“Today, America faces a financial crisis of debt and spending that threatens what it means to be an American,” said Romney.

“What's going to determine the election is the economy,” said Obama.

On Tuesday, former President George W. Bush publicly announced that he supports Romney. This is the first time he has weighed in on the race.
