New SBPD chief to be sworn in Wednesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The new South Bend police chief is going to be sworn in!
Ron Teachman will join the ranks of the South Bend Police Department on Jan. 30 in a special ceremony.
The mayor's office and the police department are working together to coordinate this community event. It is scheduled to take place at the police department.
Teachman comes to South Bend from New Bedford, Massachusetts where he served as police chief.
