New South Bend Support Division Chief appointed

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department announced the new Support Division Chief on Monday.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Chief of Police Scott Ruszkowski appointed Tim Lancaster, who had served as the afternoon Patrol for the last 2 years.

He had also served as a patrol officer, a school resource officer, Special Victims Unit investigator, and a patrol supervisor.

Lancaster will oversee Investigations, Logistics, and Record Bureaus.
