SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Fatbird, a Southern-style restaurant, opened its doors to the public today on West Colfax Avenue.
The owners said they created the restaurant with pandemic-driven to-go orders in mind.
Fatbird specializes in warm comfort food often found in the United States’ southern states.
Guests can choose from options like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits.
Dine-in customers will be able to enjoy their meals with COVID-19 precautions in place, like accessing a virtual menu through a QR code, or by visiting Fatbird’s website.
