SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A new report released by the Indiana Employment Relations Board reveals teachers across the Hoosier state are making $60,000 a year on average.
That is significantly higher than the 2020-2021 average of just over $53,000.
This comes as a statewide response to historically low salaries, including legislation to increase minimum salaries to $40,000 by the 2022-2023 school year.
The full report can be found here.
