New Tradition: Team walks new route

NOTRE DAME - The Notre Dame Football Team is tweaking their Player Walk this season. The team will still go to Mass at the Basilica, but will then get back on the bus and head to the Guglielmino Athletic Complex (Gug). On the way the team will drive through the tailgating area. After team meetings, the Fighting Irish will take their traditional Player Walk.
Fans are encouraged line the route of the walk. “We ask everybody to come support the team as they get ready to take on South Florida," said Director of Game Day Operations Mike Seamon.
The walk starts at 1:15 from the Gug. They will travel behind the Jordan Hall of Science, in front of "Touchdown Jesus", and then to Notre Dame Stadium through the Knute Rockne Gate.
