Community Build underway at Kathryn Park
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend launched their new Supporting South Bend webpage on Monday that helps connect residents with assistance programs and resources.
Visitors of the webpage will be able to view local, state, and federal assistance, benefits, and other available resources. Each program’s details, eligibility requirements and direct links will be listed.
“This webpage and the partnership with Community Prime LLP are part of a broader strategy of helping to reduce barriers to access for local resources. We’re thankful for the work our I&T and Economic Engagement and Empowerment teams have done to help residents connect with programs that they might not have been aware of,” said Caleb Bauer, Deputy Director of Community Investment for the City of South Bend.
The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program have application deadlines approaching on May 16.
