New website connects women, families to Berrien County resources

The Berrien Community Foundation Women’s Giving Circle launched Help4Her.org to help women and families in Berrien County find programs and services they may need.

“As the Women’s Giving Circle worked to identify how we could impact women in our community, we recognized that one of the things we relied on most in our own lives was the ability to network throughout a system,” said Women’s Giving Circle member Sarah Jollay in a press release. “Help4Her creates that opportunity for another set of women while also supporting the resource providers.”

Visitors to the site can search for programs and services in Berrien County by location and topic. There are also links for services needed in a crisis like food, housing and mental health.

Before it was available to the public, the site was reviewed by agencies that often refer women and families to other services including the Department of Health and Human Services, libraries and other community service agencies.
