Goshen City Council amends DORA rules amid community concerns
OSCEOLA, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating an incident relating to an injured infant.
The investigation is taking place at a residence on the 10000 block of McKinley Highway.
According to Metro Homicide, South Bend Police were contacted by those at Elkhart General Hospital regarding suspicious injuries to a 7-month-old infant.
The injuries were considered life-threatening and the child was transferred to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis where current treatment is being administered.
Detectives say the injuries occurred at the residence on McKinley Highway.
No arrests have been made as this is an ongoing investigation.
