NFL, referees' union come to an agreement

The NFL and the referees' union came to an agreement.

So just in time for Thursday night’s Browns vs. Ravens game in Baltimore, regular NFL officials will be back in action on the field.

Now the officials' union still needs to approve the 8-year deal.

The refs will see a boost in pay over the next several seasons and the NFL will now get to hire a bench of officials it can use to replace under-performing refs.
