Niles man charged with child sexually abusive activity

A Niles man is facing multiple charges for allegedly possessing and distributing child sexually abusive material, according to the Michigan State Police.

The Fifth District Computer Crimes unit identified a suspect who was downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material.

A search warrant was executed at the home of the suspect, 32-year-old Joshua Zehfus and digital evidence was seized, police said.

Zehfus was arrested and arraigned on December 10 on charges of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, distribution of child sexually abusive material, manufacture of child sexually abusive material and use of a computer to commit a crime.
