Niles Superintendent approved for 3-year extension

NILES, Mich. -- The Niles Board of Education approved a 3-year extension for Superintendent Dr. Dan Applegate.
The extension will include a two percent raise per year.
The board also approved three-year extensions for the secretarial and custodial staff.
In a statement Applegate said, "I truly believe our schools are better positioned than ever for great success. In every grade level, our schools are continuing to push the limits of what is possible to offer the best education for our students."
