No arrests in death of Gary police officer

GARY, Ind. -- Police are searching for the person who killed a police officer in Gary early Sunday morning while responding to a call.
Officer Jeffrey Westerfield was found shot to death in his squad car.
Three men were taken in for questioning but no one has been charged in his death.
It was Officer Westerfield's 47th birthday.
Officer Westerfield served on the force for 19 years.
