No charges filed in Mishawaka dog death

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - No charges will be filed against a Mishawaka man whose dog was found dead in his garage.

The dog actually died back in December, but police found it earlier this month on Milburn Court.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office told uson Thursday that there is no evidence the owner, Chris Denaway, beat the dog.

Investigators said it died from disease.
