No injuries in house fire on Pleasant View Road in Fabius Township

FABIUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. - No one was injured in a house fire in the 13000 block of Pleasant View Road Monday afternoon, according to the Fabius-Park Townships Fire Department.

Crews were called out to the area at 12:03 p.m. for the incident.

When they arrived, firefighters were met with heavy smoke and an active fire in the home's attached garage.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 15 minutes.

Most of the fire was contained to the garage, with minimal damage in the home's living room.

The home's occupants were able to get out safely.
