NILES, Mich.—Niles Scream Park is gearing up for Halloween season and let ABC57 take an inside look at what you can expect at the attractions this year.
The Scream Park will have its famous haunted house along with six other spooky experiences!
The park operates as a nonprofit, meaning the money made on admissions goes right back into the community.
“We have about 250 volunteers every night we’re open and they’re working on behalf of their charities so at the end of the season, our board of directors issues checks based on the amount of hours they contribute to the project. It beats going door to door with cookies or candy,” Volunteer Matt Herm said.
The park will open up for the season on September 13, which just happens to be Friday the 13th.
