Notre Dame athletes still winless in Olympic medals

LONDON -- Notre Dame has several athletes competing at the Olympic games but none have been able to win a medal.

Reigning Olympic fencing champ Mariel Zagunis not lost in the gold medal match on Wednesday, she also lost the bronze match and finished fourth.

Fellow fencer and freshman Lee Kiefer concluded her fist Olympic appearance in sixth place.

But Natalie Achonwa who's playing for the Canada basketball team had a stellar performance against France in Wednesday's game. The Canadians will face off against Brazil on Friday.
