SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Some South Bend students are getting pumped up for the I-STEP!
On Friday, Lincoln Primary held an I-STEP pep rally, complete with some special guests, the Notre Dame marching band and cheerleaders!
I-STEP scores have been low at several South Bend schools for the past few years. Teachers think the stress has a lot to do with it, and they are hoping to change that!
"I would do anything for the kids and I hope that they know that all the teachers and all the staff and the community would do for them and it just makes me happy to know that they’re going to get a big kick out of this,” said Shelby Dow of Lincoln Primary Center.
I-STEP testing starts next week.
