Notre Dame BCS tickets are golden

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Even though it is still unofficial, the Irish are heading to the BCS championship down in Florida. And right now, tickets for the game are the hottest in town.

The Notre Dame ticket office has received more than 4,000 emails since Saturday night. On Monday, the office received 2,500 phone calls. All from people wanting to know how to get their hands on tickets to the game against the winner of the Alabama-Georgia game.

People looking for tickets to game have a chance at a lottery offered by Anthony Travel.

Tickets cost $100 for a chance to win.

The winner will receive hotel and tickets to the game. And the winner will be responsible for airfare and food.

"The package will include three night's hotel accommodations Jan. 5 through 8, it will the game ticket (and that's two tickets per room reservation so basically the room reservations are based on double occupancy), it will also include ground transportation to the game and back," said Ann Roepke of Anthony Travel.

The package deal without airfare will likely set you back anywhere from $1,700 to $2,400.

There is also a $10 service fee to enter the lottery.

But if you do not win, you get the application fee back.
