Notre Dame beats Georgia Tech 55-0

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 55-0 on Saturday in their last home game of the season.

Notre Dame secured a substantial lead in the first quarter making a field goal and three touchdowns as Georgia Tech failed to make it onto the scoreboard as the quarter ended 24-0.

The Fighting Irish practically made it impossible for the Yellow Jackets to catch up in the second quarter as they made an additional three touchdowns with Georgia failing to produce going into halftime 45-0.

The third quarter left many wondering if the Yellow Jackets were even playing as the Irish made a field goal and a touchdown taking them to 55-0 going into the fourth quarter.

Knowing they had without a doubt won, Notre Dame coasted into the end of the game with a win over Georgia Tech of 55-0.
