Notre Dame beats Navy 34-6

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Fighting Irish beat the Midshipmen Saturday afternoon 34-6 at Notre Dame Stadium.
The first quarter saw little action as Navy made a single field goal and Notre Dame left the quarter empty handed.
The Fighting Irish bounced back in the second quarter as they scored a field goal followed by two touchdowns leaving the game 17-3 going into halftime.
The second half was a repeat of the first quarter as the Midshipmen made a solitary field goal and Notre Dame ended the third quarter adding nothing to their lead.
The Irish repeated their second quarter pattern by once again bouncing back in the fourth quarter with a safety and two touchdowns defeating Navy 34-6.
