SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- College football season is still more than five months away, but today, Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman got a closer look at his new team, during the first spring practice, as the Irish work their way toward the Blue Gold game next month.
The Notre Dame Football Team is coming off of the longest season in program history, playing in the National Championship on January 20.
Today is a new season and a fresh start with practice number one of the season, with one of the bigger headlines being the quarterback competition.
Marcus Freeman could not reiterate enough that there is no timeline or deadline on when the starting quarterback will be named.
There will be a good view of all three quarterbacks throughout the spring, culminating with the Blue Gold Game on April 12 at Notre Dame Stadium.
ABC57 will have a special spring football edition of ABC57 Kickoff.
