Former Notre Dame leprechaun presents at Rockne Series event
NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly spoke to the media Thursday as the team begins its fall training camp. The season begins in 30 days when the Irish take on the Michigan Wolverines.
Notre Dame debuted at number 11 in the preseason coaches poll.
The Irish have 5 opponents in the top 20, including the Michigan Wolverines coming in at number 14.
With the start of fall training camp comes a lot of questions about the upcoming season.
One of those questions is whether the team will wear green jerseys on September 1st.
The game has been declared a 'green out' with fans and coaches wearing green.
"I have not made a decision on that. My sense is there's going to be plenty of green in that stadium. Our home jerseys are blue. I love that tradition and unless something happens drastically in my thought process, we'll wear our traditional blue coming into that game," Coach Kelly said.
Camp officially begins Friday morning at Culver Academies.
