Notre Dame fan not deterred by east coast storm

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The tailgating crowd was a bit lighter than usual but the regular, dedicated fans were out in full force.

We caught up with one Irish fan who has only missed five games in the past 42 years.

He braved Superstorm Sandy and flew in from Farfield County, Connecticut for Saturday's game.

And if you ask him, Notre Dame is back.

"It reminds me of the third year of Lou Holtz, it reminds me of, ya know, of some of the great years Dan Devine had," Jim Corgel said. "So you get a feeling from a people in every corner of this stadium parking that this team has really come together."
