Notre Dame fans attend pep rally in Scottsdale

Arizona State and Notre Dame are both top 15 ranked teams. The Fighting Irish are hoping to prove their talent while Arizona State is looking to get revenge after last year's loss to Notre Dame.

Friday night Fighting Irish fans and alumni are attending a pep rally and block party in downtown Scottsdale.

Thursday night-the Alumni Club of Phoenix held an event and gathered in Tempe for dinner and drinks.

The club president says me he's expecting thousands of fans to turn out for the block party and pep rally.

"We've closed down a portion of a street in downtown Scottsdale, world-famous downtown Scottsdale. We're going to do the party and pep rally outside followed by an all-night block party outside, let everyone enjoy the stars, the full moon and just come out and have a good time with the Notre Dame family out here," said Chris Courey, President of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Phoenix.
