The Notre Dame Fighting Irish is set to face off against Florida State Seminoles for their season opener. As the fan-favorite, anything may be possible for Notre Dame this upcoming season.
Jack Coan, the new Quarterback for Notre Dame, will make his debut for the Fighting Irish. However, the Irish aren't showing any signs of nervousness when it comes to the unranked Seminoles.
Coach Brian Kelly believes the Irish have a good chance of winning. Last year, Notre Dame took home the victory against Florida State University. winning 42 to 26.
Plus, A die-hard Irish fan finally gets to see the team play.
Dillan Gibbons, a former offensive lineman for the Irish, transferred to FSU this summer. He raised $50,000 through a Go-Fund-Me helped Timothy Donovan attend their season opener.
