NOTRE DAME, Ind.—A Notre Dame firefighter has won a new truck in a statewide raffled conducted by VFW Posts and Sheriffs’ Offices.
Robert D. Brown won the $45,000 2018 Silverado sponsored in-part by Chevrolet and John Jones Auto Group of Corydon, Greensville, Salem, and Scottsburg, Indiana.
The raffle was held to raise money for the new Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch for future law enforcement officers, at-risk kids, young witnesses and victims of crime.
The 62-acre facility in Brazil, Indiana will allow sheriffs and deputies to provide mentor-ship to future law enforcement officers and to bond with at-risk kids and help young witnesses and victims of crime.
To learn more about the Youth Ranch, call 800-622-4779.
