NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The hype is most definitely real.
Not only for the Irish as they have college football playoff hopes, but for Heisman hopeful Josh Adams who continues to set records every time he touches the ball.
The offensive line showed some love for Adams in a Notre Dame promo video, donning their “33” hats.
Adams impressed the nation again, rushing for over 200 yards against the North Carolina State Wolfpack Saturday night.
The “33 trucking” hype is at a fever pitch all while the Irish sit at number five in the AP Poll and await their first ranking in the college football playoff poll announced tomorrow night.
“It’s something we had in our hearts and our minds. We are a playoff team. We were in August and July when we were training. To be in that position and now it’s all of our hard work showing itself and national recognition,” said Julian Love, ND sophomore cornerback.
The 7-1 Fighting Irish have four games remaining; two against ranked opponents and both of those are away from South Bend.
But for now, fans and players alike are enjoying a magical season from Adams and the Irish.
