SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Following Notre Dame’s 34-23 loss to Ohio State on Monday, the team returned home to campus on Tuesday with fans waiting to greet them.
Despite the sub-zero windchills and single digit temperatures, hundreds of fans waited outside to greet the team.
Some carried signs and flags, cheering on the Irish as they closed out their winningest season in program history.
Each fan ABC57 News spoke with was confident in the team’s progression as they head into the offseason, and are looking forward to what year four of the Marcus Freeman era will bring.
