Notre Dame football team to hit the gridiron for another spring practice

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- On Saturday, the Notre Dame football team will hit the gridiron for another spring practice.
Their first two days of spring practice took place earlier this week.
One of the things the team has to do is pick a new captain.
Harison Smith left some big shoes to fill, and Jamoris Slaughter thinks he can do it!
"I always saw myself as trying to be a leader. even when i wasnt so i dont feel like its that much pressure i know that i need to present myself and do certain things that a leader would do on and off the field," said Slaughter.
The Blue and Gold Game is set for April 21.
