Notre Dame hockey prepping for last regular season weekend series

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- This week the Notre Dame hockey team will play their last regular season games, and the series will be played here at home.

The team will take on Michigan State. They are in the middle of a losing streak, but hope to do well against a ranked opponent.

"We got to worry about us, and we know we can play better,” said Notre Dame Defenseman Sean Lorenz. “We know when we are on. We're one of the best teams in the country, but we got to bring it."

Notre Dame is going to the playoffs no matter what. If Notre Dame wins both games, they could get a bye in the first round.

This weeks’ games are Friday night at 8:35 and Saturday night at 7:35.
