NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Head Coach Jeff Jackson of the Notre Dame Hockey team answered questions from the media Monday afternoon about the upcoming season.
It is a year where newcomers are expected to step up and play an important role in the team’s success.
When asked about their upcoming matchup, Coach Jackson emphasized that it will a challenge.
“You think of West Point, you think of Army, you think of Air Force,” Jackson said. “I mean they’re hard teams to play against and Frank’s teams are always challenging to play against so I expect we’ll have our hands full this weekend, but the biggest thing for me though is going to be progress.”
Notre Dame played an exhibition game on October 6, and their season opener will be against Air Force on October 11 at 7 p.m. at the Compton Family Ice Arena.
