NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Notre Dame cheerleading team held tryouts for the new leprechauns on Friday night.
Students packed the 'pit' at Purcell Pavillion to watch six contenders face off for their spots in the suit.
One student who joined is actually from Ireland.
A final decision will be made Monday to see which three of the six will be the next leprechauns.
