NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Notre Dame cheerleading team held tryouts for the new leprechauns on Friday night.
Students packed the 'pit' at Purcell Pavillion to watch six contenders face off for their spots in the suit.
One student who joined is actually from Ireland.
