Notre Dame hosting wounded warrior workout

The University of Notre Dame will assist the Wounded Warrior Project in carrying out their mission of helping injured servicemen and women as they make their return to normal life.

To help wounded veterans in their recovery process, the University of Notre Dame has teamed up with the Wounded Warrior Project at one of the university’s state of the art facilities, The Joyce Center.

On Monday, wounded veterans will fill the Joyce Center for a warrior workout.

The Wounded Warrior Project will hold a physical health and wellness seminar that, with the help of Notre Dame trainers and staff, will challenge wounded veterans to stay active and healthy.

The event, which goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will offer specialized training in exercise techniques, movements, basic nutrition coaching and weight lifting.
