SOUTH BEND, Ind. –– Several major conferences in college sports have announced that this fall their teams will move to a conference-only schedule. However, Notre Dame is an independent when it comes to football, thus leaving their upcoming season in question.
With that said, the Atlantic Coast Conference is likely to assist Notre Dame with games for the upcoming football season. The Fighting Irish will no longer play Wisconsin, Stanford and USC this year.
