SOUTH BEND, Ind. - For the first time in program history, Notre Dame is set to host a Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) as Tennessee State comes to town for the Irish's home opener.
The special occasion provides a unique opportunity to bring awareness about the history of HBCU's to a wider audience.
The ABC57 Kickoff crew will be live on campus to preview the historical matchup from 10 a.m. to noon EST. tomorrow.
The game will begin at 3:30 p.m. EST.
