Notre Dame Junior forward to represent Canada in 2012 London Olympic Games

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- She sported blue and gold while playing for the Irish Women's Basketball Team. Now, Natalie Achonwa is going for the gold.

The Toronto native will be playing for Team Canada this year at the London Olympic Games.

We talked to the Junior forward on Friday at Purcell Pavilion.

She said she is honored to have made the cut.

"This is the chance of a life time and I'm just so blessed to be able to do it at such a young age," said Natalie "Ace" Achonwa, #11.

Achonwa is looking forward to walking in the opening ceremony.

After that, she and her teammates will be heading back to the hotel to rest up.
