Parking changes for Saturday's basketball, hockey games at Notre Dame

If you're attending the basketball game or the hockey game on Saturday on the Notre Dame campus, there are some parking changes you'll need to know about.

Fans can purchase parking for $15 in advance or on a drive-up basis in the following lots (cash or credit card): Bookstore, Library, Innovation Park, Innovation Park Grass, and IU Medical School lots.

Joyce and Stadium lot parking passes can be purchased in advance for $20 or on a drive-up basis subject to availability.

You can park for free in the White Field lot off Douglas Road and take a free shuttle to Purcell Pavilion and Notre Dame Stadium.

All fans with an ADA placard can park for free in the Bulla Lot (Bulla Road, west of Twyckenham Drive). Shuttle service is available throughout the day with convenient pickup/dropoff locations at both Purcell Pavilion and Notre Dame Stadium.

Don't forget the university has a new clear bag policy for fans.

Fans will be allowed to bring a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12"x6"x12" or a one-gallon Ziploc or Hefty bag. If the bag has a logo, it must be no larger than 4 inches by 3.4 inches.

A small clutch, 4.5"x6.5" with or without a strap is permitted.

Exceptions will be made for approved medical bags or medical equipment, but the bag or equipment will be inspected.

Prohibited items include:

  • Purses larger than a clutch (4.5"x6.5")
  • Coolers
  • Briefcases
  • Backpacks
  • Fanny packs
  • Drawstring bags
  • Luggage
  • Computer bags
  • Camera bags
  • Binocular cases
  • Diaper bags

Additional permitted items include seat cushions 16"x16, binoculars and cameras without cases. Blankets are permitted but will be subject to search.
