Notre Dame players call themselves Team 12

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -

After a week training at Culver Academies, the Fighting Irish had their first practice back on campus Thursday morning.

This year's team members are calling themselves Team-12.

They want to bring Notre Dame its 12th National Championship.

They feel like they have the talent to do it and they’re long overdue.

We want to be that team. I have been dreaming of this moment for a while now, ever since I was a kid. I feel like it is going to take a collective effort and we have the guys in this room to do it so I am really excited. We are really close knit and I believe we can do it,” CJ Sanders said.
