Notre Dame prepares for Relay for Life

NOTRE DAME -- Notre Dame is gearing up for Relay for Life and they want everyone to know that the event is not exclusive to students.

South Bend no longer has a Relay for Life event so Notre Dame is stepping up to make theirs bigger and better.

ABC57 talked with a faculty member who survived cancer and believes everyone should participate.

"I love seeing how it comes together,  how everyone is so passionate about the event and so willing to walking this whole time or to just be involved in some way," said Teresa Kennedy, chair ND Relay for Life. "I think, it is something that affects everyone and it's just wonderful to see everyone come together and share the burden."
