SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57's Brianna Clark spoke with Notre Dame professor Dr. John Cavadini on Pope Francis' impact on the Catholic Church. Dr. Cavadini says Pope Francis also brought attention to the relationship between spiritual and social issues.
"He tried to call the churches attention to the way in which we treat the environment, our common home, can't be isolated from the way we treat each other and in particular, from the way we treat the poor," said Dr. Cavadini.
