Notre Dame ranked highest among Division 1 schools

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The University of Notre Dame comes in No. 1 in academics and athletics when it comes to Division 1 colleges according to the National Collegiate Scouting Association.
The Irish also comes in third in overall colleges.
The annual NCS Power Rankings study is designed to give student athletes a better look at colleges and their athletic departments. Rankings are determined by student-athlete graduation rates, U.S. News and World Report academic rankings, and the strength of the college's athletic department.
