Notre Dame revokes award given to Jean Vanier

The University of Notre Dame revoked the Notre Dame Award given to Jean Vanier in 1994 because of allegations he sexually exploited six women..

The L'Arche organization found credible allegations Vanier sexually exploited six women, according to Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., President, University of Notre Dame.

The 2014 Ford Family Notre Dame Award for International Development and Solidarity given by the university's Kellogg Institute was revoked by the institute as well.
