Notre Dame ROTC students to test run Storm the Stadium

NOTRE DAME, Ind. –- Looking for a way to get your steps in? How about 3,600 of them at Notre Dame Stadium this July?

Well, you can register for Storm the Stadium through July 1 only after Notre Dame ROTC students run the test course Monday morning.

Storm the Stadium is an “ultimate stair-climbing challenge,” hosted by the Notre Dame Office of Military and Veterans Affairs on July 4, according to the university.

The rigorous stair-climb consists of three courses, 3,600 steps, 1,800 steps, and 700 steps up, down, and around the stadium.

UND says the cost to participate is $40 and your money will be used to benefit military-connected students.

The school notes this event is not a race and participants will receive a medal of completion, an event shirt, and free concessions.

There will also be access to the football field with inflatables and games for children ages 13-year-old and younger.
