Notre Dame vs Stanford: November 30, 2019

STANFORD, Calif. -- The Notre Dame game against the Stanford Cardinal marks the final game of the 2019 season at Stanford Stadium.

The Irish play their last game away from the Dome with a four-win streak at 9-2, taking another year without a loss at home.

The 15th ranked Irish will take on the unranked Cardinal who are 4-7 as the Irish hope to finish their third year in a row with 10 wins.

Notre Dame has a 14.5 favorite over Stanford but the Irish will still put forth their best during this matchup.

Scoring Updates:

The Cardinal score quick in the First Quarter with a 5-yard pass from QB Davis Mills to Brycen Tremayne. Stanford takes the lead 0-7.

Notre Dame counters with a 16-yard pass from Ian Book to Tony Jones. The Irish tie it up 7-7. 

Stanford's Ryan Sanborn scores a 24-yard field goal. Cardinal are up 7-10. 

Davis Mills passes 27-yards to Michael Wilson for a touchdown in the Second Quarter for the Cardinal. Stanford is still ahead 7-17. 

Notre Dame fights back towards the end of the First Half with a 6-yard pass from Ian Book to Tommy Tremble. Irish are up 14-17.

The Irish turn around to score quickly again with an incredible 41-yard pass from Book to Chase Claypool. Irish now lead 21-17. 

Both teams keep the game close until the end of the Third Quarter with a 10-yard pass from Book to Cole Kmet to score for the Irish. Notre Dame is up 28-17. 

Jonathan Doerer scores a 42-yard field goal for the Irish in the Fourth Quarter. Irish still lead 31-17. 

C'Bo Flemister scores for the Irish with a single-yard run. Notre Dame still leads 38-17. 

Stanford scores with little time left on the clock with a 9-yard run from Cameron Scarlett. Irish still lead 38-24. 

Notre Dame's Khalid Kareem recovers a fumble from Davis Mills for a 0-yard return in the last second. Irish are up 45-24. 

Notre Dame wins the game 45-24, completing their third 10-win season and finishing off strong with the final game. Notre Dame is now 10-2.
