Notre Dame vs. Vanderbilt: Irish take the win

First Quarter
Vanderbilt kicked it off to Notre Dame to start the game.
Kicker Justin Yoon from Notre Dame makes a 25 yard field goal.
Irish are the first on the board with 3 points.
A rushing touchdown by Notre Dame pushed them even further ahead with the help of quarter back Brandon Wimbush.
The score is 10 - 0 in favor of the Irish as they moved into the second quarter.
Second Quarter
Vanderbilt suffered some fumbles early in the second quarter, but they recovered.
After several punts, the ball returned to Notre Dame.
Yoon kicked a field goal that was good and the Irish advanced further with 3 more points, making the score 13 - 0, Notre Dame.
Yoon made another move for a 46-yard field goal.
Notre Dame led 16 - 0 with less than 2 minutes in the second quarter.
Vanderbilt converted a field goal to put them on the board with 3 points.
The score was 16 - 3 going into halftime.
Third Quarter
Vanderbilt missed a 43-yard field goal and scored no points in that start of the third quarter.
The Commodores got the ball back after forcing a punt.
Quarter back Kyle Shurmur threw an interception that was intended for Kalija Lipscomb.
Notre Dame is tackled at the 1 yard line.
A large whole up the middle allowed Ke'Shawn Vaughn to score a 3-yard touchdown for Vanderbilt.
The score was 16 - 10, Notre Dame as they headed into the final quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Notre Dame scored on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Ian Book.
The score was 22 - 10 in favor of the Irish.
Jared Pinkney of the Commodores completed an 18-yard touchdown catch.
Vanderbilt picked up another 7 points.
The score was 22 - 17, Notre Dame.
Justin Yoon missed a field goal late in the quarter.
Notre Dame got the ball with just over a minute left in the game.
